Cameron Ashouripour
International Disputes & Strategic Legal Counsel
Cameron (Cam) Ashouripour is a U.S.- and U.K.-qualified attorney with a decade of experience handling high-stakes international disputes. With his primary office in Washington, D.C., and a presence in London, his practice spans litigation, investor-state and commercial arbitration, criminal defense, INTERPOL matters, extradition, international human rights, and global enforcement actions. He also advises on United Nations advocacy, and sanctions defense.
Cam develops and implements multidisciplinary legal strategies that extend beyond traditional litigation. His ability to navigate the intersection of law, geopolitics, and regulatory enforcement has made him a trusted advisor to sovereign governments, multinational corporations, and high-profile individuals facing legal challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

Litigation & International Arbitration
Cam has represented clients in high-stakes litigation and arbitration before U.S. and UK courts, as well as international tribunals, including ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, and LCIA. His work in investor-state and commercial arbitration has involved complex disputes over sovereign debt, natural resources, energy contracts, and state expropriations. He has successfully defended governments and corporate clients against politically motivated claims, secured multi-million-dollar settlements, and enforced arbitral awards in challenging jurisdictions.
Criminal Defense, INTERPOL & Extradition
Cam has extensive experience defending politically exposed people (PEPs) and corporate executives in politically charged criminal cases, including those involving fraud, bribery, and money laundering. He regularly challenges abusive INTERPOL Red Notices and extradition requests, ensuring that international legal mechanisms are not misused for political or economic gain. His deep understanding of cross-border criminal law and diplomatic advocacy allows him to prevent unjust extraditions and secure the removal of wrongful international alerts.
International Human Rights & United Nations Advocacy
Cam has worked extensively on cases involving human rights abuses, political persecution, and unlawful detentions. He advocates before international bodies such as the United Nations, leveraging legal and diplomatic avenues to challenge human rights violations and secure relief for persecuted individuals. His work includes submitting complaints to UN Special Rapporteurs, engaging with the UN Human Rights Council, and coordinating with NGOs and policymakers to drive global attention to critical cases.
Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering Compliance & International Enforcement
Cam advises clients on navigating complex global sanctions regimes, including those imposed by the U.S. (OFAC), UK, and EU. He provides strategic counsel on sanctions compliance, enforcement actions, and delisting efforts. His experience in cross-border enforcement includes asset recovery, freezing orders, and navigating regulatory investigations involving financial crime.
Multidisciplinary Strategy & Crisis Management
Cam’s approach to resolving international disputes goes beyond legal advocacy—he integrates litigation, government relations, media engagement, and strategic lobbying to achieve favorable outcomes. Recognizing that legal battles are often fought on multiple fronts, Cam often works with teams of legal, political, and public relations experts to safeguard his clients’ interests in both legal and diplomatic arenas.
From complex litigation and arbitration to criminal defense, extradition, and sanctions enforcement, Cam has consistently delivered results in cases deemed impossible to win. His ability to synthesize legal, political, and commercial considerations makes him a key strategist in today’s evolving global disputes landscape.
